Montate is the perfect base for exploring Tuscany. Barga has been voted 'one of the most beautiful towns in Italy' and the historic walled city of Lucca is a real gem and only an hour away. Florence, Pisa and the coast of Viareggio are also within easy reach.

Pisa is the nearest airport with flights from many UK cities. The house is a 90 minute drive from the airport and a 15 minute drive from Barga for shops, bars and restaurants.
